VitraHaus designed by Herzog & de Meuron

VitraHaus is an impressive design showroom designed by Basel-based architects Pierre de Meuron and Jacques Herzog for the Swiss furniture manufacturer Vitra. The five-storey building is made up of stacked volumes and contain 12 separate houses, with each house showcasing Vitra’s furniture. The VitraHaus joins two other buildings in this area, the Vitra Design Museum by Frank Gehry (1989) and the Conference Pavilion by Tadao Ando (1993)
